A Biological Marker for Depression - A Game Changer

Speaker: Colin M. Shapiro, PhD, MBBCh, FRCP(C), MRC (Psych) is a professor of Psychiatry and Opthalmology at the University of Toronto.

He is director of the Sleep & Alertness Clinic, the Sleep Research Laboratory at the Toronto Western Hospital (TWH). He directs the only independent children's sleep clinic at Youthdale and the International Sleep Clinic in Parry Sound.

He was the director of the Neuropsychiatry program at the TWH where he maintains a clinical, research and teaching role.  He was the editor of the Journal of Psychosomatic Research for almost  and sits on several journal boards.

He has authored more than 250 research papers, over 250 other publications and numerous books (including one children's book).
